Shopping For Clothes In Spanish

These Spanish sample phrases will help you if you are shopping for clothes in Spain.

  • Solo estoy mirando. Solo estoy echando un vistazo. (I’m only looking)
  • Quiero un jersey. (I want a jersey)
  • Buscaba una camiseta blanca. (I was looking for a white tee shirt)
  • Quería unas chanclas. (I wanted some flip flops)
  • ¿Lo tienes de la talla treinta y ocho? ¿Tienes una talla treinta y ocho? (Do you have it in a 38?) (Click to see the numbers 1 – 100 in Spanish)
  • ¿Lo tienes en negro? ¿Lo tienes en otro color? (Do you have it in black? Do you have it in any other colours?)
  • ¿Dónde estan los probadores? (Where are the changing rooms?)
  • ¿ Cómo me queda? (How does it look?)
  • Me queda un poco pequeño. (It’s a little small)
  • Me quedan grandes. (They are too big)
  • Me lo llevo puesto. (I’ll wear it now)
  • ¿Aceptaís American Express? ¿Puedo pagar con AE? (Do you take American Express? Can I pay with American Express?)
  • ¿A qué hora cerraís? (What time do you close?)
  • ¿Teneís abierto a las ocho? ¿Teneís abierto por la tarde? (Will you be open at 8? Will you be open this afternoon?)
